Francis RITCHEY, son of Philip Ritschi, the immigrant, born ca 1733, probably in Loudoun County, Va; died March 1805, Providence Twp, Bedford County, Pa (Will Book 1, p. 217). In 1794 he left Loudoun County to settle in mountains of Bedford County, Pa. Married Catherine Deal, daughter of Samuel and Magdalena (Grimm) Deal (Diehl). Samuel Deal was born in 1710.
