  "Thomas, born 1772, died Oct. 31, 1864, son of Lawrence and Bridget (Van Natta) LOMASON, was married to Hannah Hey, born 1778, died Oct. 18, 1855.  They are buried in the Hazen, Warren Co., N.J., Presbyterian Yard.  They had a son: Andrew LOMASON, born in Aug., 1800, died Jul 1, 1876, who was married to Jane Frome, born Oct. 4, 1804, died Aug. 1, 1870.  Some of the children of Andrew and Jane (Vrome) LOMASON were: 1. Hannah, married to Edward, born March 8, 1822, died Dec. 2, 1901, son of Peter Shoemaker, Jr. (Family No. 703); 2. Thomas, born March 16, 1825, died March 28, 1833; 3. 4. Lawrence LOMISON Jr

  "Elizabeth, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Maur) Schumacher, was born in Bethlehem Township, Northampton Co., Pa., Jan. 16, 1781, and removed with her parents, prior to 1790, to Oxford, Sussex Co., N.J.  She was married about 1801, to Lawrence, Jr., son of Lawrence and Bridget (Van Netta) LOMASON.  He died in the Army in the War of 1812.  Mrs. Elizabeth (Shoemaker) LOMASON was married (2) to William Schooley, born March 3, 1776, died Feb. 21, 1860.  The only child of Lawrence and Elizabeth (Shoemaker) LOMASON was their son, Peter, born Dec. 23, 1802.  About 1847 William and Elizabeth (Shoemaker) LOMASON-Schooley removed from Sussex Co., N.J. and settled near Rochester, Mich.  They had no children and are buried in the Rochesater Cemetery.  She died June 23, 1852."

"Thomas BUTLER, farmer, P.O. Seventy-Six, is a grandson of Simon BUTLER, who settled in Beaver County about the beginning of this century.  He was of Welsh descent and came here from the eastern part of the state.  He had six children:  Eliza, Benjamin, Simon, Sarah, Peter and John.  Benjamin was born here and married Jane, daughter of Thomas and Catherine McElhaney, and now resides in Alabama.  His wife died in Beaver County.  Their son, Thomas, subject of this sketch, has lived all his life in Beaver County with the exception of a short time spent in California.  He owns 230 acres.  He is married to Sarah A., daughter of Samuel Morgan. They have had seven children:  Emma A., Benjamin, Samuel M., John T., Charles H., and Clara K., living, and Mary E., who died at the age of fourteen.  Mr. and Mrs. BUTLER are members of Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, of which he is a trustee. Politically he is a Democrat."

Deceased had tract in Independence Township, bounded by Robert McCartney, William W. Lockhart and Hiram Lockhart, Joseph Connell, and Alexander Gibbs, containing about 250 acres.  Petition requests partition.

William McCullough chooses Thomas Burnes as guardian.  Petition of John McCullough, wife Sarah was formerly Sarah BUTLER, daughter of Simon deceased.
