Robert GRIER was a Covenanter or Reformed Presbyterian. His father was a Quaker, but evidently abandoned Quakerism because of his wife and her affiliations, at the time of his marriage in Ireland. Robert GRIER Jr. left a will dated 6 April 1822, proved 4 Dec same year, Wilkes Co, GA, Will Book H, p. 13. Robert J. kept the family Bible records, now in possession of Mr. Calvin Grier of Charlotte, NC. Robert GRIER Jr. (1755-1822) married Margaret LIVINGSTON (1754-1825).
